getting on going

Well it has been a fairly productive last while. I and have produced a few crafty things for the Annual May Armstrong Childrens Market that was held yesterday. I was moderately satisfied with the outcome, the market was a little quieter that I expected however jimmy trickle and I did get a fair amount of interest :o)
I do have a left over Aprons, hats and cards if anyone is interested please let me know, I'll be only happy to hook you up. Pics are still to come 'somebody' used up our download limit earlier in the month so our lines-peed is now line-slow. thanks for your patience I'll get them up asap.

My little sweetie turned I yesterday! I had to work at the market so I really missed her and I have the attack of the guilts for not being around to make a little fuss. There will be a little party for her next week to make up. Most people I know say they don't remember their first birthday anyway. However, I have a little memory of my mother handing me a birthday card into my cot. (it had a bunny holding a bunch of flowers standing next to a big number 1) Also sitting around the coffee table with my baby buddies being presented with my cake. Awwww.

I will write more when I get the pics up... bye for now. x

threes

Is it just me or do things really happen in threes? It would be interesting to do a study on this occurrence. I wonder if anyone has already...? I have had three viruses, three crook necks, and been out on 3 very fun social events in the last three months. (Yeah, with 2 kidlets I don't get out much) It has also been three months between each post. yikes! but here is another reason - I am VERY put off attending to this blog because for some stupid reason my pictures will not upload I am getting VERY cross and hope it will work soon.

We have moved house and it was an horrific experience, we moved into a completely filthy dump which we had to clean and modify rather drastically to suit our homely needs. I seriously questioned my sanity on many occasions. Oh, but it is not the same house now it has been transformed thanks to a lot of time spent at the hardware store (Aaaah, the hardware store) and with a bucket of bleach water. But all is fine now and we are well settled into a fantastic area and the girls are delighted their new 'playslope' (sun room with a sloping floor) All is sorted now in this ol' house now has a window that is good as new, it is now spotless, draft less and it is looking pretty spiffy if I do say so myself. Thank you to our special family members and most dearest friends, Jimmy n' Jimmy, Rog, and most importantly Angel Jo for their helping hands and loving support.

Little Maple has cut 4 teeth and has learned how to take 2 steps (at a time) she is pretty proud and giggles uncontrollably sabotaging her momentum when she stands unaided poised ready to walk.

The thing that has been consuming us mostly since the last post is childhood behaviour management. Ruby has been on her mood swing and has been swinging way to high, falling off, then running to frantically shake the rickety fences. We've had a breakthrough thanks to the thoughtfulness of my mother. Ruby has has embraced a new program (that involves lots of stickers) whereby she can collect 'jingles' as reward tokens to redeem for  a tier of rewards. JoJo posted me this fantastic book. It has taken three weeks to re-fence.

I 'm preparing for selling some pre-loved kids things at a market coming up in August. Time to get crafty - finally! I'm in the process of sewing some aprons. I'll also be getting into some screen printing gift cards soon too. cato has made some beauties too hope she is well enough to get a little collection to sell with me.  I'm awaiting the arrival of Angel Jo to look after the littlies whilst I get my hands dirty. pics will be coming, hopefully, if the electronics don't defy me once again...third time lucky maybe.

tick, tock

you see! time has slipped by. I have actually thought of posting MANY times but have not had the right frame of mind or the time to write. lots has been happening, watching my girls grow, spending some lovely time with my mum and the family, preparing, baking and attending jimmy trickle's wedding and now preparing to move house. hard work but good times ahead. I will now have a space to do some painting.... lets see if it actually happens....
